Find out what the press have been saying about jOG!

Read what the press have been saying about jOG!:

“It’s genius. If I stop – the character stops. If I run – the character runs. It’s really clever. This is awesome!”

Jason Bradbury, The Gadget Show

“I definitely felt like I got a bit of a workout, plus the jOG for Wii added an interesting level to my gaming experience. For me it’s not just about burning off calories to lose weight – I work at a desk and don’t really get my heart rate up much, so I was grateful to the jOG for Wii for getting my heart pumping in a way that didn’t seem boringly odious.

Well done, jOG!”

Posy Simmonds, Mookychick.co.uk

“The great thing about the jOG is that you can try it out with all your old games until you find something that works well for you. In fact you may find it gives a new dimension to your old games!”

Gamepeople.co.uk

“There’s no configuration, setup, or special software, it just works.”

Paul, WiiFitForum.org

“It’s great fun, and while you might not stick with jOG for a marathon gaming session (you’ll be bloody exhausted), it adds an extra, physical dimension and level of interaction to games”

John Walshe, State.ie

“New Concept Gaming should be commended for coming up with the idea!”

Colin Miller, Epsom Guardian

An hour’s gaming can apparently generate 7,500 steps of the daily recommended 10,000 and burn some 225kcal. I couldn’t make it to the former or comment on the latter but it: a) certainly feels like exercise; and b) is a lot more fun than the Wii Fit.

Neil Davey, Guardian.co.uk

“One word – Genius “

Birmingham Sunday Mercury

“With jOG, playing computer games is no longer the preserve of the couch potato.”

Amy Hunt, Newcastle Evening Chronicle

jOG’s ability to keep you fit while playing more traditional games is a welcome addition to the genre. Play yourself thin!

Kirsten Kearney, Orange.co.uk

A selection of customer comments about jOG:

“I have been using the jOG accessory to help me lose some weight and have had some good results!
I was bored of the exercises on the Wii Fit and found that jOG is more fun because it works with different games!”

Laura, Mumsnet.com member

“What a great way to get a bit of exercise while playing Wii games. I used it on Call of Duty 3 and was soon worn out as I ran for cover but had to run on the spot to get there. Cheaper than a Wii fit but more use if you have games where your character has to move a lot. You’ll soon wear a hole in the carpet.”

Kevin, Customer on Iwantoneofthose.com

“Anyone with a Wii should definitely buy one of these jOG Motion Controllers and if you have children its essential… so, so funny watching them play their favourite games, walking on the spot and getting some exercise too.”

Max, Customer on Play.com

“The best Wii Accessory i have brought by a mile!! It’s cheap compared to the Wii fit and gives you just as much of a workout. The whole family loves it!

John, London

“The Wii Jog is really good fun. After a good 20mins I was starting to sweat as I was playing Zelda. It brings a new dynamic to the game and it makes you think about your whole body not just your arms. A great buy and something you must try out!”

Tom, Birmingham

“Brilliant idea! I can’t believe how easily my children picked it up, they love it!

Vicky, Manchester Science Festival

“I love to use jOG with my children, we have a great time and it also helps us all stay fit and healthy!”

Susan, Sheffield.

“jOG adds a lot to the games the kids always play. They love playing with it and it really makes them run like mad as they try to beat each other! It was really easy to set up and get started too which is always a bonus”

Sarah, MoneySavingExpert.com member

“Great gadget for people looking for indoor activity. I feel more active after I used jOG with FIFA 10!”

Ando, Customer on Argos.co.uk

“Highly recommended if you want to burn off more calories or get a bit fitter – (every little helps!)”

Rosie, Customer on Play.com

The team at NCG were invited to join football legends from past and present this week for the world premiere of “15 Minutes that Shook the World”, a new comedy exploring what might have inspired Liverpool FC to victory over AC Milan in the 2005 Champions League final in Istanbul.

The premiere was attended by stars of the match and film – Steven Gerrard and Jamie Carragher, as well as the likes of Rafa Benitez and Kenny Dalglish. Prior to viewing the film, guests were invited to Jamie Carragher’s own restaurant Café Sports Express for champagne and canapés, where they were also able to play their favourite Wii games, all using jOG! Guests at the premiere were encouraged to sign a specially made ‘jOG’ England football shirt, which will soon be auctioned off for charity. All proceeds from this auction and from the film itself will go to ‘The 23 Foundation’, a local charity which provides sports facilities and health awareness to disadvantaged children.

This was a fantastic event, promoting a hilarious movie and helping a local charity, and also giving us the opportunity to see some famous faces trying jOG!

That’s probably true, but what if there was a way to make every game played a truly active experience? I’m not talking getting callouses on your thumbs here. I mean sweat dripping down your face because you have to run the way your character runs. Interested? If so take a look at jOG controllers for Wii.
